  • Ski Team Finishes Third

    Last night, January 26th, the Varsity Ski Team finished 3rd out of 11 teams in a Giant Slalom race at Mt. Brighton. Nick Lipinski, Nick Harris, Bryan Petrosky, and Stephen Freitas came in 7th, 8th, 14th, and 19th out of 63 racers. In the JV race, Kaegan Maddelein came in 1st and the other top finishers were Andrew Petroff, Sam Ilkka, and Christian Denker. Congratulations and good luck on Saturday at the Invitational Race at Boyne Highlands!
  • Swim Team Finishes Strong at Home

    U of D Swim and Dive team beat Notre Dame Prep and lost to Country Day in the first home meet on Tuesday, January 24th. Kenny Stilwell took 1st place in diving. Swimming strong for the CUBS and taking 2nd place were: Nick Valice, (100 breast) Anthony Lesha, (500 free and 200 free) and Matt Cullen (50 free). Steven Verderbar took 3rd (100 free). Last Saturday at the Dexter Freshman-Sophomore Invitational U of D swam strong. Steven Verderbar placed second, (200 free) and Matt Cullen placed third (50 free). Our relay teams took 2nd in the 200 yard free and 3rd in the 400 free.
  • Cubs Host Eaglets Saturday, January 28th

    The University of Detroit Jesuit Cubs basketball teams will host Catholic League rival Orchard Lake St. Mary's on Saturday, January 28th. Game times for the Freshman (2PM), Junior Varsity (3:30PM) and Varsity (5PM) will start earlier in the afternoon to accommodate a celebration recognizing the Cubs' 1972 and 1992 Catholic League Championship teams. The teams will be recognized at halftime of the varsity game. In addition, halftime festivities will include a "mini-game" featuring a team of young players from Holy Name parish in Birmingham.
  • Dads' Club Family Mass / Pancake Breakfast and Raffle

    This is the last week to drop off your Dads' Club Raffle tickets! You want to get those tickets in to have a chance for the $4,000 Grand Prize, and the four other prizes. Have your son drop them in the Dads' Club mailbox in the Atrium by Friday, Jan. 27 or bring them to the breakfast.   Hope to see you at the Dads' Club Family Mass / Pancake Breakfast / Dads' Club Raffle Drawing on Sunday, January 29 - Mass starts at 10:00 am with breakfast immediately after in the Cafeteria and Commons.     It's almost here...our new website CubCommunity.   The University of Detroit Jesuit High School and Academy proudly presents the beta version of our new web site, CubCommunity.
